These are some articles I have written, mostly for academic purposes.  I can’t guarantee they are all interesting, but feel free to take a look for yourself!

The War Powers Act: Congressional Check or Power Grab?:  I wrote this paper in the Fall of 2006 for Professor Ralph Stein’s National Security Law course at Pace Law School.  It discusses the constitutionality of the War Powers Resolution, which set time lines for unilateral military deployment by the President.

Iraq and its Women: A Glimpse of the Possible Horrors to Come: I wrote this paper in the Fall of 2007 for Professor Darren Rosenblum’s International and Comparative Equality course at Pace Law School.  It discusses the Iraqi Constitution and its lack of protection for women, as well as the influence of Shi’ite militants on law making in Iraq.

The Internet Tax Freedom Act: Won’t Somebody Think of the States?:  I wrote this paper in the Fall of 2008 for Professors Ilan Benshalom and Nancy Staudt’s Tax Policy course at Northwestern Law School.  It discusses the 1997 Internet Tax Freedom Act, as well as its subsequent modifications and renewals over the years and the law’s affect on the states’ ability to collect sales tax, as well as the affect on online retail sales.
